From English to Greek:Helping HypnosisGreece deliver a powerful presentation on work harassment prevention
We recently collaborated with HypnosisGreece. A mental health services provider located in Greece who wanted to give a presentation about work harassment prevention at a local university.
Challenge accepted:The task
They needed our help to translate a 30-page PowerPoint about informative content on work harassment prevention from English into Greek.
We had a week to finish the job, but there were a few hurdles to overcome.
The legal and technical language was complex and we also had to pay close attention to industry-specific terminology and jargon.
Overcoming with precision and speed
How did we overcome these challenges? We got our research on!
We scoured databases and dictionaries to make sure our translations were accurate and of the highest quality. We also used a CAT tool and terminology database to keep everything consistent.
