BuildOrama is a construction company specialising in building projects and the supply of construction materials. We work together on an ongoing basis to translate ISO certificates and technical documents from English into Greek. Each assignment involves different documents with its own technical requirements.
The need
Certificates and technical documents contain specialised terminology, references to standards and specific technical data. Even a small inaccuracy can alter the meaning of a specification. BuildOrama needed reliable translations with accurate terminology and a faithful rendering of each document’s information.
Our contribution
We translate ISO certificates and other technical documents, reviewing each assignment’s requirements individually. We check terminology against relevant standards and specialised sources, paying close attention to specifications, measurements, codes and dates. We also ensure that the same terms are used consistently across the documents.
The result
BuildOrama receives complete Greek translations of certificates and technical documents that accurately preserve the specifications, references to standards and details of the originals. Our ongoing collaboration allows us to reuse terminology from previous projects, ensuring consistency across assignments involving different materials, products or technical requirements.
